RIB Use Recommendations
To ensure that your boat maintains its optimal performance for a long time and provides you with a safe and comfortable sailing experience, please follow the following usage recommendations:Regular Cleaning:
After each use, wash the hull promptly to remove salt, dirt and other impurities and dry the hull to prevent corrosion and stains from accumulating.
Protect from prolonged exposure to the sun:
Try to avoid exposing the boat to the sun for long periods of time. If prolonged storage is required, it is recommended to cover the boat with a boat cover to minimize UV damage to the hull and equipment.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance:
Check the engine, fuel system, batteries and other critical equipment regularly to ensure that everything is functioning properly. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for regular maintenance and replace worn or damaged parts promptly.
NOTE ON AIR PRESSURE:
If the hull is inflated, it is recommended that the air pressure be reduced to 50% when the boat is not in use for an extended period of time. Check and fill with air before using again. In strong sunlight, it is recommended to inflate the air pressure to about 80% to prevent the air cylinder from expanding due to high temperature and rupturing.
Safety equipment:
Ensure that the boat is equipped with adequate life-saving equipment such as life jackets, life rings and first aid kits, and check the condition of such equipment regularly.
Operating Practices:
Observe all safety practices and instructions in the operating manual and avoid overloading or speeding to ensure safe sailing.
WINTER STORAGE:
Before storing, clean the exterior and interior of the boat, including the deck, cabin and engine, to prevent damage to the hull from dirt and salt.
Store the boat in a dry, ventilated area. Try to avoid direct exposure to inclement weather, such as rain, snow or strong winds.
Thoroughly drain fuel and water systems to prevent freezing and damage.
Antifreeze the engine and other critical systems and use antifreeze to protect the engine from cold temperatures.
Cover the entire hull with a marine protective cover to prevent direct damage to the boat from cold weather.
If possible, remove batteries from the boat, store them in a warm place, and charge them regularly to avoid battery failure in cold weather.
Through these measures, the boat can be effectively protected from damage during winter storage and fully prepared for spring resumption.
